The ski area covers 164km of piste, with a good range of runs mainly for intermediates. 14% of the area is allocated to experts who can also try the off-piste runs. Beginners are also well catered for with 4 nursery slopes and lots of gentle long runs for practising. Kitzbuhel also offers good off-piste skiing for the more adventurous.

The best snowboarding terrain on the Hahnenkamm is to be found on the Kasereck and Silberstuben downhill run, a spot where the forces of nature have created a unique snowboard and fun course with superlative halfpipes, rollers, jumps and mogul slopes.
