Located in a sunny position in the Wildschonau Valley, between the Kitzbuheler Alps and the Wilder Kaiser Mountains, Niederau is the largest of 4 small villages in the valley.
Neiderau is a small ski resort stretching just 2km, where the locals are considered to be friendly. The mountains and countryside surrounding Niederau is beautiful and the resort is fairly peaceful.
Nightlife is fairly low key with a handful of bars, pubs and discos. Alternative evening activities include night skiing, sleigh rides and bowling. Non-skiing daytime activities available include winter walking, tobogganing and ice skating.
