Obergurgl & Hochgurgl Ski Holidays

Obergurgl is a beautiful little skiing village at the foot of Festkogl's 3035m peak.
Obergurgl is an upmarket ski resort, favoured by British and European families and couples.
The resort is linked with nearby Hochgurgl, which together offer 110km of piste.
The snow coverage is reliably good from November to May and there are also snowmaking
facilities, which cover 18km of runs.
In Obergurgl queues for lifts are rare and the runs are seldom crowded. There is
a good spread of runs mainly for the beginners and intermediates. The runs tend
to be very open and obstacle free, which is a bonus to carving snowboarders. There
are surprisingly good off-piste options and a handful of black runs for the advanced
skier.
A selection of restaurants offer a high standard of local specialities and international
dishes. Apres ski is traditional and many of the bars have a great atmosphere at
the end of the day. Also expect plenty of cafes and live music venues.

Obergurgl and Hochgurgl are not resorts for shopaholics, but they do offer all the
essentials such as a bank, supermarkets and ski clothing & equipment shops
