The snow coverage is reliably good from November to May and there are also snowmaking facilities, which cover 18km of runs.

The runs tend to be very open and obstacle free, which is a bonus to carving snowboarders. There are surprisingly good off-piste options and a handful of black runs for the advanced skier.

A selection of restaurants offer a high standard of local specialities and international dishes. Apres ski is traditional and many of the bars have a great atmosphere at the end of the day. Also expect plenty of cafes and live music venues.
