Chalet Hotel Parc Victoria, Cortina d’ Ampezzo
This classically Italian, attractive hotel is full of character with exposed wood beams and feature panelling in the lounge, bar and dining room. Large rugs, an open fire and comfortable armchairs and sofas create a warm, inviting ambience and views over the hotel garden can be enjoyed from the dining room on the lower ground floor.
The bedrooms vary in size from en suite single rooms, a selection of double or twin rooms and a suite for up to four with its own lounge. All are well appointed with en suite bath or shower and wc, as well as satellite TV and a hairdryer, with the majority also benefitting from a balcony.
With an address on the Corso Italian main street, the location is hard to beat, with all of Cortina’s attractions within easy reach and the nearest lift, the Faloria cable car, only about a six minute walk away. For the extra convenience of our guests we provide a complimentary minibus shuttle service each morning and afternoon at designated times.
To complete the Parc Victoria’s appealing facilities, there’s a ski and boot room on the lower ground floor and a small spa area on the first floor with a sauna, steam room and sensory shower.
Cortina is one of the most fashionable ski resorts in Italy, surrounded by the dramatic peaks of The Dolomites with ski lifts fanning off in different directions. The town centre is charming and not all of the visitors ski, meaning that there are few crowds or queues on the slopes. All the ski areas are linked by lifts or ski busses and the Sella Ronda can be reached by keen skiers and boarders.
The dramatic scenery of The Dolomites makes this one of the world’s most beautiful ski areas, enjoying the best of Italian and Austrian tradition. These mountains have a unique character, with dramatic high-rise pinnacles often glowing a soft pink in the early morning and a fiery red at sunset. The scenery is just awe-inspiring, with incredible views from every vantage point.
