Inside the hotel, you’ll find a warm welcome from our friendly staff. They’ll serve you a full English or continental breakfast to set you up for the day, followed by an afternoon tea with plenty of home-made cakes, soup, juices and assorted teas to go round.

Evening dinner will be 3 courses with wine, the perfect time to reflect on your day on the slopes and unwind. A high tea is available for children 12 years and under.

One evening a week dinner is not served in the chalet hotel allowing you the opportunity to dine out at one of the excellent local restaurants.

4 months to 12 years

Chalet Hotel L'Ecrin is a popular hotel for families with the ski slopes 100m away. Childcare at the hotel is available for children from ages 1 to 12 years and must be pre-booked at an additional cost. From December 2019 we will also offer our Baby Club for ages 4 months plus.

The hotel crèche is colourful, fun and fully equipped with all the latest toys and books, cots, potties, bottle sterilisers and fridge.

There is a parents kitchen facility for late night feeds and a free evening childcare service if children are booked into day time clubs. Parents can relax over dinner for two or join a social table with fellow guests.

For those not booked into day childcare, evening childcare will be charged at £135 per child per week and should be pre-booked as places are limited.

Ski school We work very closely with Evolution 2 and Les Marmottons ski schools, who are happy to teach children from 4 years upwards. Children that are booked into the children's clubs and the recommended ski school will be dropped off and collected from ski school by our childcare staff and from there bought back to the hotel where we provide lunch and afternoon activities (or return to ski school) all supervised.

For children that are not skiing and are booked into the children's clubs then a mountain of fun and games both indoor and outdoor awaits daily.

Health & Beauty

The perfect place for weary skiers and boarders to relax and recharge their batteries in beautiful surroundings. The in-house spa has four therapy rooms offering a range of treatments from sports massage to manicures, an impressive swimming pool with swan neck showers and Jacuzzi, a sauna and steam room.

The Viva therapy room is run by highly qualified Beauty Therapists providing luxury treatments using the fabulous skincare brand Elemis.

A ski holiday in Tignes centres around three small villages sitting high above the tree line. Our chalet hotels can be found nestled in the villages of Tignes Le Lac and Val Claret, recently jointly rebranded Tignes 2100. Forming part of the Tignes-Val d’Isere ski area, Tignes provides a huge variety of varied terrain (300km in fact) for skiers and boarders from challenging off-piste powder to leisurely cruising runs.

Off the slopes there is plenty going on with plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. A recent addition to the resort is the fantastic swimming pool and wellness centre in Tignes Le Lac. And the weekly market is wonderful to meander through.
