The chalet is wooden-clad, set amongst the trees and has 6 comfortable bedrooms with en suite facilities, many with balcony. The lounge has comfy sofas, TV and also a log fire, perfect relaxing and enjoying the aperitif and canapés, just before dinner.
Walking to the resort centre takes about 4 minutes by road, or is even quicker if you walk directly down the piste. The chalet is reached along a snowy path from the road.
The sister chalet Beau Vallon is next door so ideal for larger groups who may wish to spread across both properties.
At the heart of the 3 Valleys ski area is the pretty resort of La Tania. This youngest resort in the ski area is perfectly positioned half way between Courchevel and Méribel amongst a forest of luscious green spruce trees. It was originally built for the 1992 Albertville Winter Olympics and now has developed in to a full ski resort whilst still retaining its village charm and atmosphere, but with quick access to some of the most famous pistes in the world.
Traffic is kept away from the village centre which is pedestrianised and the arrival point for well groomed ski runs giving the luxury of doorstep skiing to most accommodation. The numerous snow cannons ensure that the runs to resort are kept in a good condition for the whole season and our Ski Total chalets are just right next to the slopes. There is no nicer feeling than skiing back to your chalet at the end of a good day and being able to ski down from the chalet to the gondola in the morning.
The original hamlet was called La Tagna (meaning bear’s dwelling) and the modern resort has been renamed La Tania. It is well planned and built with natural materials and lots of wood so the apartments and chalets are perfectly placed, nestling within a Christmas Tree forest. There is a good selection of restaurants and shops as well and although the resort may not have the frantic après-ski of some neighbouring resorts, live music and good bars can still be found.
