Chalet L’Ancolie was built in traditional Savoyard style, in a quiet location, set back and slightly above the main road.
The owner, an expert carpenter, has lovingly done much of the interior wood panelling himself, ensuring a high degree of care and attention to detail, with many delightful features. The five comfortable bedrooms are all en suite with TV, music system and a balcony too.
The sauna on the ground floor is a perfect way to relax after a day on the slopes and the living/dining-room with its log fire and comfy seating provides a haven in which to unwind.
The resort centre and ski slopes are approximately 10 minutes’ walk from Chalet L’Ancolie. The ski bus stop is just 50 metres away below the chalet, with regular services throughout the day and evening, and extra services at peak times.
For your added convenience, our ski hire partners provide a transfer to and from the shop for the fitting and collection of skis, boots and boards.

The Méribel Ski area offers an endless variety of terrain, much of it at high altitude both on and off-piste, whilst the ski village itself is liberally sprinkled with attractive chalet-style buildings of local stone and wood and has a true village ambience. Bars, restaurants and resort facilities are first rate and along with excellent provision for families and some of the best nightlife in the Alps, Méribel has more than enough attractions to go around for everyone's ski holiday.
Now four valleys rather than three, this is a huge, state of the art system with 600 kms of varied terrain. Dawdle on flattering tree-lined slopes, attack giant bumps and steep couloirs or notch up the mileage, cruising the whole magnificent system, there is something for all skiers whatever your level when taking your skiing holidays in Méribel
Above Méribel itself is a combination of cruisy glades and open boulevards, which enjoy both morning and afternoon sun, whilst higher up on Mont Vallon, the going gets tougher, with excellent off-piste and some testing long runs.
